So, when we were born, he was very careful that he had to protect his children because it was a new way of life."
In this conversation, Shweta told that there was never a magazine in the house for her and Abhishek. Apart from this, he was rarely seen on television. Shweta said that the atmosphere of her house was like living an island life (away from populated places). He said, “We never had magazines at home and tv was also limited in the 80s. We have lived an island life."
Shweta Bachchan showed her interest in journalism and writing by not adopting acting. He has written a novel titled 'Paradise Towers in 2018. She was married to Nikhil Nanda, a businessman from Delhi. Now both of them are the parents of Navya Naveli Nanda and agastya Nanda. Furthermore, in the same interview, Shweta shared that she and her mother do not support being friends with children.
Talking about her bonding with Navya, Shweta said, “Neither I nor my mother (Jaya Bachchan) is trying to befriend her (pointing to Navya). I don't think we are friends, but we are open-minded to listen to them."
