Acharya - Netizens cry Foul on Jagan

After allowing blockbuster films like radhe shyam and rrr to raise ticket rates, the andhra pradesh government has now authorised megastar Chiranjeevi's Aacharya to do the same. They also allowed distributors and exhibitors to raise ticket prices by $50 in all locations, ensuring that Aacharya has a great start. This has now sparked debate.
While the andhra pradesh government is the first in india to regulate movie ticket prices, they previously issued a directive stating that if a film's production cost, excluding remunerations, exceeds 100 crores, and if 20% of the film is shot in the state, the exemption will be granted and the ticket price can be increased. Despite the fact that the film was shot for approximately 25 days in the Maredumilli forest of andhra pradesh, Aacharya received a ticket price increase.
Some feel that ap chief minister YS jagan has always had a warm spot for megastar chiru, resulting in the hike without following the rules outlined in the Ticket Pricing GO. Some speculate that the film's producer, Niranjan Reddy, is a lawyer who handles many of Jagan's court issues, therefore the favouritism. Whatever the case may be, netizens are now mocking the chief minister of andhra pradesh for allowing Aacharya to raise ticket prices despite the fact that it did not fit the criterion. Some criticise them for not granting same authorization to bheemla nayak and kgf 2.
