Slap controversy: chris Rock has broken the silence...

Oscars 2023 is round the corner. The 95th Academy Awards will be held on march 12 in Los Angeles (March 13 in India). Meanwhile, while the fans are excited about it, on the other hand, the wounds of actor chris Rock have become fresh due to the incident that happened last year.

Will Smith slapped chris Rock during the oscar ceremony for making fun of his wife. Everyone in attendance was taken aback by this scenario.

Chris Rock has not yet publicly discussed this issue. However, the thespian has now spoken out after remaining silent for an entire year.

Chris Rock talked about it in Netflix special 'Selective Outrage' regarding the matter. chris Rock said, 'I'm trying to do a show tonight without offending anyone. I'm going to try my best because who knows who might get triggered when. people always say that words hurt. Those who believe so, their data-face is never punched.

You all know what occurred to me, chris Rock said. I got beaten up by Will Smith, everybody knows that. I was hit a year ago... still hurts. 'Summertime' is ringing in my ears... but I'm not suffering baby. You will never see me crying on Oprah or Gail… I took that hit like Pacquiao.' Rock believes that Will Smith's reaction was less about his wife and more about their relationship.

Rock further told that he used to like Will Smith very much. people asked him many times why you didn't do anything back that night. Responding to this, he said, 'Will Smith is much bigger than me and we are not of the same data-size. If I am a zebra, they become a shark. Besides that, I have parents, and do you know what they taught me? Don't fight in front of white people.'
