After renowned actor mukesh khanna repeatedly attacked her upbringing, star sonakshi sinha denounced him. She was unable to respond to a question regarding Lord Hanuman during a 2019 appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).

mukesh recently accused Shatrughan Sinha, her father, of failing to teach her about the Ramayana. She'respectfully' requested him to quit and forget the event in a lengthy instagram Stories post.

She wrote in her post, "Dear Sir,Mukesh Khannaji...i recently read a statement you made saying that it's my father's fault I did not answer a question about the Ramayana correctly on a show i attended many, many years back (sic)."She continued by saying that she keeps getting picked on even though two other women on the hot seat didn't respond to the question. However, there are clear reasons why you continue to use my name and just my name. Yes, it's possible that I forgot who the Sanjeevani booti was brought for that day due to a human inclination.

mukesh khanna was reminded of Lord Ram's teachings by Sonakshi. It is obvious that you have also forgotten parts of Lord Ram's own teachings on forgiving and forgetting. If Lord ram can pardon Manthara, can he pardon Kaikeyi?She wrote, "If he can forgive Ravan after the great battle is over, then you can forgive me for this very minor thing in comparison. Not that I need your forgiveness (sic)."

The actor went on to emphasise that mukesh should refrain from bringing up the incident in the future. "I need you to forget and stop bringing up the same incident time and again to be back in the news at the expense of me and my family," she stated when she confronted him.

"The next time you decide to say anything about the values my father has instilled in me...," she said at the end of her note.Please keep in mind that it was because of those beliefs that I only respectfully expressed what I had to say after you chose to make some offensive remarks about my background. In an interview with siddharth Kannan, mukesh khanna commented on Sonakshi Sinha's error, saying, "People were upset that Sonakshi was unaware of this, but I would say it's not her fault—it's her father's fault." Why didn't they impart this knowledge to their kids? What made them so contemporary? I would force children to sit down and learn about indian culture and Sanatan dharma if I were Shaktimaan today.
