Nepotism still affects me says Star Heroine

Taapsee Pannu is marketing her newest movie, comedy-thriller 'Looop Lapeta,' which was published on Netflix last week after her three movies were premiered on different Streaming sites the year before - romantic mystery 'Haseen Dillruba,' fiction 'Annabelle Sethupati,' and sporting drama 'Rashmi Rocket.'


Taapsee Pannu opened up in a recent interview about how nepotism still affects her after more than a decade in the indian cinema, after making her breakthrough in a telugu film in 2010. The 'Pink' starlet told Film Companion that nepotism has impacted her in at several phases of her career. The actress stated that she struggled to land excellent jobs when she first entered Bollywood, and that it still impacts her 'availability' now that she is a well-known figure in the business.


Taapsee Pannu also stated that she is not a sociable actor since she does not have time to socialise because she works on five films in a year. She also admits that she doesn't have the same level of access as celebrity kids. "Tomorrow, if a writer approaches me with a specific subject or genre that I'd like to explore and that a certain movie company or director is known for, my access to them, or their willingness to listen to me, isn't as easy as it is for a star kid."
