Why Pooja Hegde signed Beast? She's worse than Item Dancer

SIBY JEYYA
Beast is directed by Nelson Dilipkumaar of Kolamaavu Kokila (Coco Kokila) and doctor (Varun Doctor) reputation. It's a conventional action comedy that incorporates elements of a hostage situation with terrorists. The main plot is unchanged save for the fact that the setting is a 'Mall.' It adds a unique element to the story and allows Nelson to develop some linked characters. This is where the entire security guard track for the mall originates. Nelson used it as a comedic device, and it effective in sections.
The action, more than the humour, is the problem with Beast. Nelson is a master of humour, but he fails to weave action into the story well. Are the action sequences well-shot? They are, indeed. But do they contribute to the story's suspense or intrigue? And the answer is no. Nelson seeks to include Vijay, the 'Star,' in a hostage situation tale.
As a 'hostage' problem is a serious matter, it dilutes the entire drama around the plot. However, what we have here is a one-man army situation in which the protagonist is fighting everyone on his own. There isn't a single ounce of resistance. The terrorists appear to be waiting for the'star' to appear and take them out. Finally, pooja hegde is just used for one song and we don't even remember that she exists in the picture after it ends.
