In a recent media interview, aishwarya rajesh had said, 'Religion was never an issue behind doing this film. I would definitely play this character, even if it is a Hindu or a Christian. The religion angle has not been a hindrance for me.
The makers of the film issued a statement
Amid growing controversy, the makers of the film also released a statement recently. It said that 'Farhana' is not against any particular religion. Makers said, 'Our films have talked about religious harmony, social unity and love. It is not against any religion.
