Skoda Slavia: DNA of Skoda's brilliant Sedans Continues...!

Skoda had unveiled the new compact sedan car instead of Rapid. Skoda Rapid is one of the major hit cars in the market. Now, this is replaced with Slavia.


The all-new Škoda Slavia will be launched in india between february and march 2022. 


Its length is 4,541 mm, 1,752 mm in width, 1,487 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,651 mm.

The front grid is chrome surrounded with vertical black slats which are upright and extend to the sides of the full LED front headlights.


The lower air inlet runs nearly the vehicle’s entire width and merges with black, C-shaped base LED light applications on both sides. 

The rear bumper accentuates width and features a thin black insert that runs from one reflector to the other in the Active and Ambition trim levels.


The top-end model comes with an electric sliding glass roof.


 The basic models come with halogen lamps, daytime running lights are LEDs.

 In top-end models, a hexagonal LED module has a low beam and high beam, daytime lights have an L-shaped LED strip which is defined sharply.

Slavia comes with three trims: Active, Ambition, and style.


Five shades are available

  • Candy White
•Brilliant Silver

•Carbon Steel

•Tornado Red

•Crystal Blue.


With an engine of 1-litre-6 speed MT for Active, Ambition, and Style.

There are 4 variants with different engines.

Skoda Slavia has the Turbo petrol engine and gearbox:1-litre unit (115PS/178MN) AND A 1.5 Litre unit (150PS/250NM), which also has an ACT Active Cylinder technology which shuts off two-cylinder under.


SAFETY

The new Skoda Slavia is designed to meet the veridical safety and emissions specifications.

Six airbags.

For children's safety, this comes with ISOFIX anchors and Top Tether anchor points on the rear seats. 


ESC is another standard feature to ensure driving safety, the Multi-Collision Brake will bring the vehicle to a standstill in the event of an accident. 


The SLAVIA also has a Hill-Hold Control, rain and light sensors, and cruise control. 

A tire pressure monitor is another convenient feature.

The expecting price would be between Rs 10-16 Lakh INR(ex-showroom).

 The Skoda Slavia will  be challange to honda City and maruti Suzuki Ciaz.

“Our motive is to capture 5% market share by 2025 with ŠKODA KUSHAQ, and now added the SLAVIA, we are getting ever closer to achieving it," said Gurpratap Boparai, Managing Director, Skoda Auto.
