On hearing the name rx100, many people think of the film directed by ajay Bhupathi, a disciple of famous director Ramgopal Varma.

Karthikeya and payal rajput entered tollywood as hero and heroine.

Needless to say how big a hit this movie was.

This movie is named after Yamaha bike.

Even more than the bike.. it can be said that the bike got such a name through this movie.

The craze about the Yamaha rx100 bike continues even today.

In the 90s, this bike was very popular with the youth.

Even today this bike has many fans.

This bike was launched in the market from 1985 to mid 1996. After that the production of this bike was stopped.

Thus the rx100 played a major role in the entry of Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha into the indian motorcycle market.

But this bike will be brought back to the indian market.

In this regard, Yamaha Motor india President Aishin Sihana revealed in an interview to a private news agency.

Yamaha wants to bring the rx100 model back to the indian market.

But the old Yamaha rx100 is not hitting the road again.

Because it is based on a 2-stroke engine.

So.. its engine can be replaced in view of current introduction of BS6 vehicles.

It seems that the design will also be updated.

Yamaha cannot give the rx100 badge on any bike as per the rules.

For the new RX100.. the company has to come up with a new bike.

For this.. the company may remove some parts from the old model and come with a combination of retro design.

This can be said to be a big challenge for the company at present.

Yamaha plans to introduce new vehicles in 2025. As part of that.. there are chances that the company will bring the Yamaha rx100 by 2026. Currently.. Yamaha's portfolio includes 125 cc scooters, 150 cc street and sport motorbikes and 250 cc bikes.
