Sourav Ganguly clarifies Remaining IPL Games Cannot Happen and even if it happens, it can't happen in India

BCCI President Ganguly clarified that the remaining IPL games cannot happen and even if the board finds a slot for the rest of the edition, the chances of making it happen in india is not possible. sourav ganguly already indicated that the indian cricket Board and IPL Council will data-face a loss of Rs.2500 Crores if the tournament is called off. 


BCCI cannot find another window as the cricket calendar for the indian team and other teams are completely packed. bcci President Ganguly is neither hopeful for conducting the rest of the matches. The bcci suspended IPL 2021 indefinitely on May 4 after positive Covid-19 cases emerged in bio-bubbles across multiple franchises in ahmedabad and Delhi.


Ganguly revealed that is too early to discuss finding another window for IPL 2021 edition as the entire Nation is badly hurt by the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic with the country registering more than 400,000 cases every day. There were reports that the UK or sri lanka might be a new venue for the rest of the edition of IPL. But Ganguly said, "There are lots of organizational hazards like 14-day quarantine. It can't happen. This quarantine is tough to handle."
