North Korean Leader warns of Food Shortage due to extended COVID Lockdown
Kim Jong Un who is the leader of north korea has warned his country people about a shortage of food due to the extended lockdown restrictions. He also discussed the economy being broken in the country. We also hear reports from the Central news Agency of north korea that how the leader discussed with several officials and authorities regarding the current international situation.
However, the leader never made anything particular or specific about the united states of America or South Korea. It should be recalled that north korea totally ignored all the negotiations made with respect to the Nuclear deal with former US President Donald Trump. Right now, the economy of north korea is declining towards the worst possible situation despite the closures during these hard COVID pandemic times as that even completely choked the trade deal with China.
Also, apart from the pandemic the Typhoons and Floods totally decimated the crops and that also ruined the country's economy further. Now, north korea leader has warned of starvation and the food shortage could reach more than a million tonnes this year itself. The speech has created some shock across north korea country.
