SIBY JEYYA
Medical phone numbers issued for telemedicine services did not work in JIPMER Hospitals and patients have been severely affected by a malfunction in the computer system as an unknown virus has disrupted and hacked the data and due to that, all the telemedicine services throughout have been gone like thin air.

JIPMER Hospital, a central government agency, is operating in pondicherry Gourmet and it employs 720 people, including specialists, professors, and medical officers, and 2,300 nurses and in addition, more than a thousand two hundred people are employed as technicians, permanent employees, and contract employees.

The first outpatient unit was suspended on april 26 last year due to Corona's 2nd wave in puducherry and again, the outpatient department has resumed operations at the hospital premises on june 21st due to a reduction in corona infections. That too, the management only allowed for a maximum of 25 patients per day in each department, and permission is granted only after contacting through the phone number and making a reservation and consulting with a doctor. But now due to the hack, even the numbers are not working as the data has been hacked.
