In the siege operation known as the Storming Operation in
tamil Nadu, 3325 persons have been apprehended, according to the police. “The siege operation has been in full flow in
tamil Nadu since the night of
september 23rd,” said
tamil Nadu DGP Silenthra Babu in a release. In the last 54 hours, a total of 21,587 ex-offenders have been arrested across the state. 3325
people have been arrested as a result of the tests. 296 of them were detained as a result of ongoing legal proceedings.

people were arrested and remanded in judicial custody in connection with various
criminal proceedings. A new probation order has been obtained, and

people have been released after a new probation order was secured.
The
police seized a maximum of 1117 weaponry, including 710 country rifles and 1110 other weapons, including daggers, from the suspects apprehended. The
police will continue to use strong tactics against criminals who are involved in violent crimes.
