Bharat Bandh : What parties do support this Strike?
Several political parties have expressed support for the Bharat Bandh, or statewide strike called by farmers on september 27 to protest the three central agriculture legislation. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), an overarching organisation of farmers' unions that has spearheaded anti-farm law protests, has now gained help from the YS jagan Mohan Reddy-led andhra pradesh govt; and in the meantime, the congress, the aam aadmi party (AAP), and the telugu desam party have all expressed support for the strike on monday (TDP). Moreover, the Left parties have previously expressed their support for the Bharat Bandh.
In light of this, nani stated that the andhra pradesh government is willing to suspend apsrtc bus service throughout the state from midnight on september 26 to noon on september 27. The minister, on the other hand, urged nonviolent protests during the Bandh. The ysr Congress-led andhra pradesh government is the latest political force to support the farmers' call for a Bharat Bandh on september 27. The AAP also backed the Samyukt Kisan Morcha's proposal for a Bharat Bandh on september 27. The party's support for the national protest in solidarity with the farmers was announced.
Yesterday, the congress expressed its support for the Bharat Bandh and asked that talks with the demonstrators begin. This bandh has received support from the telugu desam party and the Left parties, but it is unlikely to take place in tamil Nadu.
