People would respond against the anti-agricultural bjp administration in the elections, according to Karur lok sabha congress member S. Jyoti Mani. The demonstration was attended by lok sabha Karur constituency congress member S. Jyotimani, party state vice-presidents Subha Somu and Sujatha, and executives raja Nazir, lawyer Saravanan, and Rex, among others, and was led by party district leaders Jawahar, Govindarajan, and Kalai. Following this, the Congressmen demonstrating outside the party's district office in Arunachal Pradesh abruptly moved to the Theppakulam post office, where they sat on the road and fought. Following that, authorities arrested 150 persons who were participating in the violence.
Jyothimani who met the press said, "Farmers all throughout the country have been challenging agricultural rules for the past year. Farmers were slain in Lakhimpur Keri, Uttar Pradesh after a car struck head-on with the son of the Union home minister while they were engaged in a peaceful protest. Many people were hurt. priyanka Gandhi, who had gone to the field to encourage the farmers, was detained by the police.
