S. venkatesh expressed his thoughts.

He said, "Money order from the Post office Small savings forms are only available in hindi and english on the internet; is it acceptable to force foreign languages on postal workers at a time when ordinary people download and use tamil characters on their phones? On september 22, 2021, I wrote a letter to the Union minister and the Chief General Manager of Posts.

We have assured the Ministry that under the indian Official Languages Act, usurpation of rights to the state language is not permitted, and we will not accept the imposition of hindi in violation of the law. In this regard, I met with the Chief Post General Manager today in Chennai. After that, he guaranteed in writing that tamil will be available in all postal formats. As a result, tamil will be available in cash and savings account forms in tamil Nadu's 14,000 post offices over the next two weeks. He stated that the remaining 40 types of forms would be printed and distributed to post offices over the next month."
