Eight people have been killed in a stampede at a concert hosted by American rapper Travis Scott.

At least eight people have been killed in a stampede at an Astroworld concert in the US state of texas last night.


The AstroWorld concert kicked off last night in Houston, Texas. About 50,000 people took part in it. Authorities say the entire crowd then began to move toward the stage around 9 p.m.


There was a tense situation and there was a lot of congestion. Many have been injured as a result. Then all of a sudden some people fainted and fell down. As a result, officials say, more tensions have arisen.

Authorities said eight people were killed and several others were injured in what became known as the Cold War. Authorities said the cause of death could not be determined until the autopsy reports of the eight people involved were released.


Police are investigating the incident with videos. Also, the concert has been cancelled, officials said.


Travis Scott, a famous Rapper has announced the release of a new album AstroWorld on november 5. When the crowd of Travis fans rushed in, there was congestion which lead to mass deaths.

Rapper Travis Scott prevented the gang from coming back to the stage many times throughout his 75-minute show, however, his fans failed to listen. throughout the program, he additionally appealed to the protection to urge the folks out safely from the stage itself. 


This event is held once a year, Astroworld music competition is organized once a year.
