Is it true that Annaatthe crossed 200 Crores?
Siva directed Annaatthe, a Deepavali film that was recently released. The cast includes Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, keerthi Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, and Soori. Despite the film's unfavourable reviews, the box office was a success. The film, which was distributed in over 1000 theatres around the world, is estimated to have made more than Rs 100 crore in its first 2-3 days.
In just seven days, the trackers forecast a worldwide gross of over Rs 200 crore. Fans of Rajinikanth are ecstatic. However, the production team has yet to reveal any official information about the film's box office receipts. When we tried to poke our nose and spoke with a reliable distributor, he said that the movie was a commercial success and despite rains family audiences are crowding the theaters on weekends.
Director Siva during a recent interview said, "I never give a damn about all those negative reviews or reviewers as their only intention is to degrade the movie and I don't give a damn about them. I will accept constructive criticism and genuine reviewers, but those who spread negativity will ruin our day and we can't work forward along with them. As per my sources, the movie is doing exceptionally well in B and C centers and Rajini sir has pulled off family audience once again."
