The
murder and robbery case in Kodanad has been postponed till
december 23 by Judge Sanjay Baba.
jayalalitha and Sasikala already have a tea estate in the Kodanad section of the Nilgiris
district, nearby Kotagiri. On
april 23, 2017, a mob rushed into the tea estate and
home around midnight and murdered guard Om Bahadur. He later entered the villa and looted a variety of stuff.
On the 25th, the cops also arrested Dhanapaul and Ramesh. The judge granted the
police permission to interrogate Dhanapaul in detention for five days yesterday. The Kodanadu
murder and attempted
murder trial was held today before the
district Court of Ooty, Nilgiris
district, in this backdrop. When the trial started,
district attorneys insisted on a thorough investigation. Judge Sanjay
baba then delayed the case until
december 23. The public prosecutors also raised serious objections at Danapaul and Ramesh's parole hearing.
Both have given testimony. Both of them have ties to politicians. Several bits of information were reported by the two during their questioning in
police custody. As a result, an investigation has begun. If they are both allowed bail, they will almost certainly destroy documentation and witnesses. As a result, both sides contended that no parole should be given.
