Who will be the next Commander in Chief of Armed forces?
MM Naravane, who has been the Commander-in-Chief of the indian army is currently in the senior rank position in the armed forces. He took over as the 27th Commander-in-Chief of the indian army on december 31, 2019. Before taking this responsibility, Naravane was the Commander-in-Chief of the army and the Eastern Regional commander of the army responsible for guarding the 4000 km data-border with China. Naravane has effectively served in various important challenging missions in the indian army for over 40 years.
Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria has the longest experience after Naravane. Bhadauria, who joined the air Force in 1980, recently retired after 41 years of service. It is said that even if the names of some of the officers are mentioned, it is likely that either Naravane or Bhadauria will be appointed as the next Commander-in-Chief of the next armed forces.
