"Before the guy who begged for help to catch the crocodile reached the police station, there were three consecutive phone calls," DSP Lamech stated when asked about the incident. The man was on the phone with a female police officer at the police station at the time, giving the address of a street in Kollidam where he had been in an accident and was battling for his life.
