Kamal Haasan Welcomes the Decision of Increasing Women Marriage Age

kamal haasan has applauded the Union Cabinet's decision to raise the marriage age for women to 21 years old. prime minister Narendra Modi mentioned extending the age of marriage for women to 21 in his Independence Day speech. The federal government had established an executive committee to raise the age of marriage for women to this goal. The executive committee, led by Jaya Jaitley, proposed raising the age of marriage for women from 18 to 21 in early December.
By accepting the executive committee's proposal, the Union cabinet authorized raising the age of marriage for women from 18 to 21 years old yesterday. It will be introduced as a bill in parliament soon, and it will become law. Regarding this, kamal haasan said, "The Makkal Needhi Maiam party applauds the Union Cabinet's decision to raise the marriage age for women to 21 years old.
This will be extremely beneficial to women's growth. Many people's dreams will not be shattered if marriage is disrupted. This law should take effect soon." Apart from kamal haasan, several party members and leaders welcomed this decision as this would bring several girls to light and also stop illegal marriages which are happening at a very young age.
