BEWARE! SIM SWAP FRAUD - Chennai guy Loses 24 Lakhs!

Four persons have been detained in West bengal for allegedly stealing Rs 24 lakh from a private hospital administrator's bank account in Chennai. On behalf of a private hospital in chennai, a complaint was recently filed with the Commissioner of Police. Someone took Rs. 24 lakhs by disconnecting the cell phone line linked to our hospital administrator's bank account in Chennai!


As a result, individuals who were involved in the scam should be prosecuted, and the money should be recovered. A case has been filed and is being investigated by the chennai Central Crime Branch Cyber Crime Police. The SIM card was running in Uttar Pradesh, according to investigators led by Inspector Vinod Kumar, and the stolen money had been moved to 16 bank accounts in West Bengal.


According to Municipal Commissioner shankar Jival, the personal police travelled to West bengal and detained Sayantan Mukherjee (25), rahul Rao (24), Rohan Alysana (27) and Rakesh Kumar Singh (33) from the same state. The inmates also had 14 cell phones, 105 SIM cards, 154 debit cards, 22 bogus Pancards, and 128 aadhar cards seized. Another crucial suspect in the scheme is being sought by police. Similarly, the police are continuing to examine whether any other fraud has occurred in Chennai.
