A painful accident happened in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh. A boat capdata-sized in the Sindh river here on friday evening, drowning the riders in the river.
Of the 14 people who drowned in the river, 12 were rescued, but many children are missing. It is being told that 2 children have not been found yet. All the people in the boat were returning after eating the Bhandara of Bhagwat Katha.
The rescue operation has been resumed from saturday morning. This boat accident happened in Nayagaon police station area. After the information, officers of Bhind sub-division and Lahar sub-division also reached the spot.
Later the Collector-SP of the district also reached the spot. The team started the search again for the missing children from 7 am on Saturday.
People told that when the boat reached the middle of the river, the water started filling in it, due to which everyone got scared and stood up. In such a situation, the boat overturned unbalanced and got stuck in the river.
The cause of the accident is being told to a broken and dilapidated boat, in which more people were also aboard.
However, the police and administration team immediately became active and started the rescue operation. The rescue operation was carried out till 12 o'clock in the night. Of the total 14 riders, 12 people were rescued.
But two children drowned in the river. Draupadi daughter Sukhedi Baghel resident Hilgawan Raun, Om son Subhash Baghel resident Mirzapur (UP) aboard the boat is missing.
Panicked, the victims of the accident had gone to eat Bhandara at the other end of Sindh. This accident happened while coming back from there. The people in the boat told that as soon as it came to the beach, water started filling in the boat.
Everyone panicked and stood in the boat and the children started shouting in panic.
