Meet the New Guest at the White House
Willow is a newcomer to the white house in the United States. President of the united states of America, Joe Biden, is a huge animal lover. He has credited the white house with a new cat for this. Willow, a two-year-old grey cat, has arrived at the White House. "The cat was called Willow Grove in Joe Biden's hometown of Pennsylvania," Jelly Biden said of the cat. "We call it willow," says the narrator.
In 2021, US Vice President Joe Biden's pet dog died. This was followed by Joe Biden's december purchase of a two-year-old German Shepherd dog. After two bite occurrences, the three-year-old Major was moved to live with Biden family friends in Delaware. Champ, the president's elder pet, died in june at the age of 13 years. While canines have been more frequent visitors to the white house, numerous presidents, including Bill Clinton, jimmy Carter, and Gerald Ford, have also owned cats. Other white house pets have included hamsters, raccoons, and birds in the past.
Only three US presidents have never had pets while in office: james Polk, Andrew Johnson, and Donald Trump. Mrs. Biden's spokesperson, Michael LaRosa, told the Associated press that "Willow is settling into the white house with her favourite toys, snacks, and lots of room to smell and explore." The cat is the first feline to reside in the white house since George W. Bush's presidency.
