Sadly, in the disappointing turn of events 'Jai Bhim' starred by surya sivakumar and also produced by surya under 2D Entertainment could not make the cut. jai Bhim is a social drama talking about the real-life of Chandru who is a lawyer. It did not make it which made all the fans sad and dejected.

But the indian documentary 'Writing with fire' film has got selected in that documentary category in the Academy Awards. Many of his fans tweeted that the film had given a good fight and also served the purpose which is very important.

Actor surya and his wife and actress jyothika have also gone to America for this film jai Bhim which was nominated from India. surya is now currently acting in Etharkkum Thunindhavan movie directed by pandiraj who directed Pasanga movie too.
