The Ukrainian Military told local reporter that Ukrainian servicemen on Snake Island who were praised for declining to lay down their arms in the midst of a Russian invasion were taken alive and not slain. A video appeared on the internet a few days ago showing 13 Ukrainian fighters refusing to succumb to Russian forces.

The troops on the Black sea islands were warned by a Russian navy ship: "I recommend that you submit and lay down your rifles. You'll get hit if you don't." "Russian ships, go f*** yourselves," the Ukrainian post answered after roughly seven seconds of radio silence. All 13 data-border guards were eventually awarded the title of "Heroes of Ukraine" by the Ukrainian government. The navy, on the other hand, has established that Russian forces took them unharmed.

According to the director of the regional administration, Oleg Synegubov, at least 12 persons were killed on monday in rocket attacks by Russian forces on residential neighbourhoods of the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. Since russia invaded ukraine last week in the worst invasion on an european state after World war II, the north east metropolis, Ukraine's 2nd biggest, has become one of the primary battlefields.
