Petrol-diesel and domestic gas cylinders will become prohibitively expensive after march 10; oil companies have made extensive preparations.


The commercial cylinder is Rs 105 more expensive. Instead of Rs 1921.50, domestic gas cylinder rates will now remain the same at Rs 2026.50. oil companies are waiting for the assembly election process in five states, including Uttar Pradesh, to conclude before unleashing the inflation bomb on the general public.
As the final phase of assembly elections in five states approaches, oil companies raised the price of commercial gas cylinders by Rs 105 on Tuesday, implying that domestic gas cylinders will also be more expensive after march 10. After raising the prices, commercial gas cylinders will now cost Rs 2026.50 instead of Rs 1921.50.


Commercial gas cylinders were Rs 102 cheaper in january and Rs 92 cheaper in february when oil companies began elections in five states, including Uttar Pradesh. Petroleum dealers are also acknowledging that, following the elections in five states, petrol and diesel, in addition to domestic gas cylinders, are likely to become more expensive.


The votes in these states will be counted on march 10, after which the oil firms will have total freedom to raise the pricing of these petroleum goods.

Oil corporations have made commercial gas cylinders more costly in the final stages of polls in Uttar Pradesh and other states, implying that household gas, petrol, and diesel prices will skyrocket after the elections are done.

Petroleum traders currently predict that no big state elections will be held in the next two years. In such a case, oil firms are currently preparing to push petroleum goods to new heights.

The oil industry is waiting for the elections to be over. Commercial gas cylinders are now more expensive, and oil firms can raise the costs of home gas cylinders, petrol, and diesel till Holi. In such a setting, the average man's troubles would worsen.
