James Review - One Final Spectacular Show from Puneeth Rajkumar
One of the biggest drug lords, Joseph Anthony, is at odds with his indian counterpart, Jayadev Gayaakwad, and after the latter is slain by Antony's men, his son Vijay Gayakwaad (acted by Srikaanth Meka) takes control. Problems, on the other hand, don't go away as Vijay's life is jeopardised, and it's up to Santosh, played by Puneet Rajkumar, to act as his one-man security squad. Santosh is charismatic, noble, and fearless as the director of the J Wings Security service in Bangalore, but is there anymore to him than greets the gaze?
Priya anand is stunning on film, reuniting with Puneeth after their hugely successful outing in 'Raajakumaara,' but the writing fails to capitalise on their chemistry as a hit on-screen duo. The lack of cheerfulness in the screenplay hinders her character as Vijay Gayakwaad's sister Nishaa, and whatever little screen time she is given culminates in a fairly dull segment. Apart from Puneeth Raajkumar, the movie's major focus is on the villains, and there are plenty of them here, dressed in the best suits and sucking on expensive booze.
