A total of Rs. 5 crore has been set aside to provide an extra 20% subsidy to Adithravidar tribal small farmers participating in high-value agricultural programmes. This is also something we appreciate. The DMK government has established a goal of increasing food production by cultivating additional land, and in the last ten months, it has witnessed significant progress. The election promised to raise the number of jobs from 100 to 150 days under the mahatma gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. We suggest that the tamil Nadu government allocate additional monies from its fund for this purpose, and that the period be increased from 100 to 150 days.
