Giritaran (36) is from the Counter Mills neighbourhood in Coimbatore. Has been in the real estate
business for a long time. He had just filed a
police report with the
coimbatore district Crime Branch. It reads, "In
november 2021, I was introduced to
sunil Gopi from the state of Kerala." He informed me that he had 4.25 acres of land for sale in the Mavuthampathy neighbourhood of
coimbatore, near Madukkarai. On this basis, I wired Rs 97 lakh in instalments to
sunil Gopi, his cousin Reena, and her
husband Sivadas'
bank accounts. In this example, a re-examination of the land deed reveals that the land was the subject of a civil litigation.
When I asked
sunil Gopi to return the funds I had given him to purchase the land, he said he would. However, he did not give as stated. He threatened to kill me when I met him in person last month and begged him to return my money. The
police should launch a case against
sunil Gopi and his collaborators for defrauding and threatening me, according to the letter.
Under the areas of fraud, fraud, forgery, and conspiracy, the
district criminal
police have filed a case against three people, including
sunil Gopi.
sunil Gopi, who was hiding in Kozhikode, Kerala, was later apprehended by the personal
police who were investigating the matter.
