TTV Dinakaran, the AIADMK General Secretary, has requested that the Coast Guard and the indian Navy return the Sri Lankan Tamils who are being dumped aimlessly in the oceans off the coast of tamil Nadu. "It is disturbing that our umbilical cord Tamils have been hit by the tremendous economic situation in sri lanka and are beginning to come to tamil Nadu like foreigners," he said on his data-facebook page today. The government of Mother tamil Nadu has a responsibility to assist such guests without giving them any hardship.
The Coast Guard and the indian Navy must bring back to safety the Sri Lankan Tamils who are being unloaded helplessly in the coastal reefs along tamil Nadu. "I urge the central and state governments to do this with a keen interest," Dhinakaran said.
The Kapu-based Tulunadu Hindu Sena wrote to the temple management, requesting that no Muslim be permitted to trade during the 'Suggi Maari Puja' holiday. "During the Maari Puja celebration, no Muslim should be allowed to set up stalls. You (temple authorities) will be solely liable for the difficulty and risk if the Muslims are allowed to set up their stalls. As a result, you should not allow Muslims to set up stalls "The Hindu Sena issued a warning.
