Stalin's trip to dubai …Rs 2,600 crore investment, employment for 9700 people - government of tamil Nadu agreement with uae companies Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with leading companies in the United Arab Emirates in the presence of tamil Nadu chief minister MK stalin to invest Rs. 2600 crore in tamil Nadu and provide employment to 9700 persons.
Tamil Nadu chief minister MK stalin has paid a state visit to dubai and Abu Dhabi to enhance economic and trade relations between tamil Nadu and the United Arab Emirates and to attract investments to tamil Nadu.
During the visit today, Saturday, Chief stalin met with members of the United Arab Emirates Investment Organization. Following this, three MoUs were signed in the presence of the Chief Minister. Memorandum of Understanding:
•Dubai-based Noble Steels has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up a production project in tamil Nadu with an investment of Rs.1000 crore and employment of 1,200 persons.
•The Dubai-based white house has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up two integrated sewing mills in Tindivanam in Villupuram district with an investment of Rs 150 crore in 3 years and Walajabad in kanchipuram district with an investment of Rs 350 crore in 5 years, with an investment of Rs 500 crore and employment of 3,000 people. The company's partner A. Mohammad Ilyas was present.
•Dubai-based TransWald Group has signed a memorandum of understanding to set up a food park in tamil Nadu with an investment of Rs 100 crore and employment for 1,000 people. The Chairman of the company Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan was present.
•The event was attended by suresh Kumar, Chairman, IBPC dubai, MA Yusuf Ali, Chairman, and Managing Director, international Lulu Group, and Dr. Aman Puri, Deputy Ambassador to India.
•Aster DM Healthcare has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up a 500-bed hospital in tamil Nadu with an investment of Rs.500 crore and employment for 3,500 persons (direct employment for 3000 persons and indirect employment for 500 persons).
•The Shrapnel Group has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of tamil Nadu to set up a freight park with a rail link facility with an investment of Rs.500 crore in tamil Nadu and employment for 1,000 persons. The group was co-chaired by H.E. Major General (Retd) Shroffuddin Shroff and shyam Kapoor, Chairman, and CEO of the group.
•Chief minister stalin discussed the possibility of setting up a chemical complex in tamil Nadu, discussing the four major ports, roads, and rail links in tamil Nadu, as well as the potential workforce and improved business environment.

•Earlier, industry minister gold South visited the Jebel ali Free Trade Zone in dubai this morning. The Jebel ali Free Trade Zone is the largest port and trade zone in the Middle East. The Free Trade Zone is the integrated business hub division of DP World, the largest service and business solution provider in the United Arab Emirates.
•This seamless trade zone is one of the largest opportunities and business opportunities for export companies in the United Arab Emirates.
•The Hon'ble minister of industry also visited the Automatic Container Terminal in the Free Trade Zone and its warehousing facilities, warehouses, distribution, and exchange activities for trade and commerce.

DP World is setting up a Free Trade Zone in the Tiruvallur district of tamil Nadu. In addition, in september last year, DP World entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of tamil Nadu to set up a Free Trade Zone in the Southern Districts.
The event was attended by S. Krishnan, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of industry, V. Arun Roy, Secretary, Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, pooja Kulkarni, Managing Director, Guide, senior officials of the government of tamil Nadu, and senior officials of DP Weld.
