At the Oscars, AR
rahman spoke in
tamil, bringing pride to
tamil and the
people of
tamil Nadu. The BJP's state president,
annamalai, has stated that the
party has no intention of initiating personal attacks on those who speak our
language and want to preserve it, or of speaking out against their beliefs.
Today,
bjp state president
annamalai met with reporters at the party's headquarters in Thiyagaraya Nagar, Kamalalayam. He then went on to say, "I don't know Hindi, I don't speak Hindi." However, if necessary, I will learn Hindi. There is no other option. Please consider whether you require your work,
education, or career. However, no one may claim to be
indian simply by learning a
language as a need for any reason. This is something that
indian Prime
minister Narendra Modi does not want. The National
education Policy expresses this very plainly.
We are pretty clear on one point as far as the
bjp is concerned. For whatever reason, the
bjp has no aim or habit of initiating personal attacks on those who speak our
language or who
believe they can defend it, or of speaking out against their ideas. AR
rahman has travelled to numerous places, including the Oscars stage, where he addressed in
tamil even after he purchased the Oscars, giving
tamil and the
people of
tamil Nadu pride. On that podium, all praise was due to the Lord. That is something we are all proud of. As a result, everybody has the right to make a comment. That is perfectly OK. That is our viewpoint.
