Economic status study will be carried out - TN Govt
This year, the tamil Nadu government has chosen to conduct the tamil Nadu Fisheries Census. The tamil Nadu Fisheries Department conducts a fisheries census every ten years. As a result, fish censuses were undertaken in 1978, 1986, 2000, and 2010. In light of this, the tamil Nadu government has decided to undertake a fishing census this year. A comparable study on the economic position of fishermen is also planned by the tamil Nadu Fisheries Department.
