TN Urban Housing Development makes new announcements

During the debate in the tamil Nadu Legislative assembly on the grant request of the tamil Nadu Urban Housing Development Board, it was announced that one lakh individual houses will be built under the self-construction scheme for beneficiaries who are weak in the land ownership economy during the financial year.


Various important announcements were made during today's debate in the tamil Nadu Legislative assembly on the tamil Nadu Urban Housing Development Board's grant request, including the allocation of 25,000 flats for economically disadvantaged families living in urban areas and the reconstruction of 40,000 flats in chennai and other cities at a cost of Rs 100 crore. Thamo Anparasan, the Finance Minister, also revealed the financial information of the tamil Nadu Urban Housing Development Board.


> In the current fiscal year, one lakh individual residences would be built for land-owning economy beneficiaries under the Self-Building Scheme.

This fiscal year, about 25,000 units will be allocated to economically disadvantaged poor families residing in metropolitan areas.

> This year, a total of 7,500 dilapidated units that are unsuited for human occupancy will be repaired at a cost of Rs 1200 crore.


> Residents' associations will be excluded from the registration cost to help fund the "Our home is Our Responsibility" programme, which aims to maintain residential areas clean and sanitary.
