Water Conservation is a Spiritual Duty for everyone - Modi

Water conservation and protection of water bodies, prime minister Narendra Modi remarked at the Mann Ki Baat event, is a social and spiritual responsibility of the people. From the Vedas to the Puranas, it has been said that it is human beings' social and spiritual responsibility to create ponds and lakes around the world to preserve water. He noted that the Valmiki Ramayana places a strong focus on the connection between water levels and water conservation.
