NRI Velamas On Revanth Reddy's Caste Politics
revanth reddy, the telangana State congress President, is well-known for giving public comments critical of the incumbent trs government. However, some of his statements enraged the nri Velamas, who retaliated in kind. In a note to Revath Reddy, the nri Velamas mentioned- "We anticipated you to be a little more responsible as the president of your state unit. Instead of dragging everyone along, cheap divisive caste politics may bring you cheers, bravos, and congratulations from some corners, but it takes away what a leader in such a responsible position needs most: credibility "..
"Targeting a particular caste just because your political opponent happens to be from that caste and working to divide society on the basis of caste and religion to gain power, rather than focusing on apprising the electorate how better and how different would your party deal with pressing issues like poverty, corruption, and development, given the opportunity, would only boomerang on you and your party," the nri Velamas continued.
"Finally, people are no fools to not know pure electoral antics from honest and productive efforts to win them back," they concluded. We'll have to wait and see what revanth reddy has to say about it.
