'Ante Sundaraniki' tanks at box office after weekend

Ante Sundaraniki, starring nani and Nazriya, is rumoured to be on the verge of failing financially. Trade reports claim that the movie's opening weekend is its sole profitable time, with Monday's earnings showing a sharp decline. "Ante Sundaraniki" disproves the notion that mythri movie makers is suffering from a rare failure.

After "Shyam Singha Roy" performed admirably despite having subpar material, nani had a good chance of finding success with "Ante Sundaraniki." After all, it's a family drama and not just a comedy. Despite the fact that the majority of viewers believe the second half of "Ante Sundaraniki" is strong, the film has not performed well for whatever reason.

People are likely to prefer seeing the movie on OTT rather than in theatres, which is one reason why the commercial flop is likely to have occurred (something they did not want to do in the case of "Shyam Singha Roy," which performed well on OTT in the month of "Akhanda" and "Pushpa: The Rise"). Another potential explanation for the movie's performance is the continual stream of patrons entering theatres since February, which has led to fatigue and a desire for a break. However, neither "Vikram" nor "Major" displayed any such signs.
