After Bhimavaram fiasco, RRR alleges threat to life
Kanumuru raghu Ramakrishna Raju, a maverick rebel ysr congress party legislator who attempted in vain to attend prime minister Narendra Modi's event in his hometown of bhimavaram on monday, has tried to win the public's sympathy. Raju, who arrived back in New delhi from hyderabad on monday morning, informed reporters that the leaders of the ruling party were planning to have him removed by the police. He said that his security personnel had apprehended an unidentified man early one morning at his home in Hyderabad.
He added that when the individual was questioned after being seen snapping photos, he claimed to be from the Andhra police. Raju claimed that the man had argued with the security personnel rather than displaying his identity card. claiming that for the previous three days, the individual was performing a reconnaissance at his home. "The three people who were with him left the area. He was responding to questioning incoherently and claimed that he had gone there on orders from higher ups, the rebel mp stated.
The mp reported that the security personnel had taken the cellphone and were now looking into it. But he omitted to say who is looking into the matter or why he wasn't turned over to the telangana police. Raju said that the andhra pradesh government had obstructed his travel to bhimavaram and had brought fabricated charges against his supporters. Investigations, however, showed that the PMO had not authorised his attendance at the bhimavaram meeting.
