Priya Bhavani Shankar to play the female lead in Arulnithi's Demonte Colony 2
Arulnithi, who played the lead in the first movie in the series, will also appear in the second, filmmaker ajay Gnanamuthu stated last month. The director is turning his first movie, Demonte Colony, into a franchise. Now, we've learned that priya Bhavani Shankar, who starred alongside Arulnithi in the love movie Kalathil Santhippom last year, will be working with the actor once more on this picture. "Priya has signed on the dotted line and will be playing the female lead in Demonte Colony 2, which will go on floors in August," a source informs us.

The Imaikaa Nodigal filmmaker will write the story for this new movie, which will be directed by Imaikaa Nodigal's co-director venky Venugopal.
