The boxing theme continued in that movie. ramya krishna is overdoing it in her act, just like Jayasudha. As a result, it is claimed that Liger is simply ANOTA updated. In his most recent interview, puri jagan made it clear that Liger is an entirely new movie and that he didn't borrow any ideas from his earlier works. According to him, Liger is a Pakka commercial action drama with a love narrative set against an MMA backdrop.
