Interim General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswamy fainted during the AIADMK protest against the electricity tariff hike in Chennai. After fainting, the ADMK members made Edappadi Palaniswamy sit on the stage by giving him water.

After this, Edappadi Palaniswami was given water and ADMK made him sit on the stage. Then Edappadi Palaniswami returned home.


Before 2 months a protest demonstration on behalf of AIADMK was held across tamil Nadu today against the arrest of former AIADMK minister Jayakumar. As a part of it, a protest demonstration was held at salem Fort Ground under the leadership of AIADMK Co-Convenor Edappadi Palanichamy. There was a commotion when minister Chemmalai suddenly fainted on the platform in front of the AIADMK organizational secretary.

The AIADMK led by edappadi k palaniswami (EPS) on tuesday expressed dissatisfaction over the ‘inaction’ of the State police in investigating the violent incidents that took place on July 11 at party headquarters and urged the DGP to transfer the case to either cbi or an independent authority.


Former minister Vellamandi N Natarajan has been appointed organizing secretary of the AIADMK while former mla RT Ramachandran will be the secretary to Puratchi thalaivi Peravai. C Thirumaran and RV Babu will be president and secretary of the lawyers’ wing. In Puducherry, former mla Om Sakthi Sekar has been appointed party secretary
