YSRC to play Lokesh card in the next elections?

G GOWTHAM
The telugu Desam party, which is currently in opposition, would be entirely destroyed, according to the ruling ysr congress party in Andhra Pradesh, led by chief minister Y S jagan Mohan Reddy. Jagan's main goal is to prevent tdp leader N chandrababu naidu from taking office at any costs. Naidu would be too old and exhausted to run in the elections in 2029, when he will be getting close to 80 years old, therefore if the YSRC can defeat him in the upcoming elections, it will be the end of the road for the TDP.
But Naidu is making every effort to win the polls, and even though he will turn 74 in 2024, he has been travelling the state actively and waging a vigorous campaign against the jagan administration. And he has been successful in persuading the populace that he has the energy to run in the upcoming elections. As a result, it is known that the YSRC think tank changed its approach.
The party is aware that Naidu is a popular option, but that nara lokesh is not yet ready to assume the role of tdp leader. While lokesh is a problem for the tdp, Naidu is still a valuable asset. That is precisely the reason the YSRC's strategists intend to release a fresh campaign plan. In this campaign, the party would place greater emphasis on portraying lokesh as the main goal rather than Naidu.
