Andhra employees up in arms against govt again!
JAC Chairman Bopparaju Venkateshwarlu, General Secretary Y v Rao, and others expressed grave concern with the state government's treatment of the employees, claiming that the state had taken away even the arrears of dearness allowance that had been credited to their accounts. "When we have requested the same, the officials claim a technical error was to blame but refuse to return the same. We practically ask the government every month to pay salaries on the first day. Even after the first week, they are still not receiving pay, according to Venkateshwarlu.
Because they cannot receive their pensions until the 25th of the month, the situation for pensioners has gotten worse. He said that the government had used our provident fund money for other things and wasn't paying them back. The jac leaders emphasised that the apsrtc employees were not receiving the revised pay scales. Even the capability for cashing in leave was not made available to the workers. "The Ministers' Committee has not provided any assurance. We are forced to start another another agitation, they said.
