Because of their statements regarding the #boycott trend, Vijay Deverkonda and ananya Panday, who are busy promoting their new movie Life, are making headlines. Vijay recently said, "We are paying the Boycott gang too much attention." "Toh Karne do (boycott), kya krenge hum," he added. Jinko picture dekhna hai vo dekhnge, hum toh picture banaayenge. The television and the telephone are not in use. The actor was targeted by internet users as soon as this video got public.

Now, Vijay remarked, "I don't know exactly what is their (online trolls') concern and what they want," when asked about them at the Vijaywada event. On our side, we are right. My birthplace was Hyderabad. Charmme was a punjabi native. Narsipatnam is where puri Sir was born. Don't we have to work? For three years, we put a lot of effort into making this movie. Shouldn't we make our movies available? Should we remain inside? You have all witnessed the admiration that our viewers have shown for us. For those audiences, I make movies. I require those viewers. Fear is unnecessary until we have these folks on our side.

He continued, "When we are doing our dharma and acting correctly, there is no need to listen to anyone; whatever comes, we must confront. We did it from the bottom of our hearts, so I don't feel afraid at all. We are all from this country and are aware of how much we sacrifice for our community and nation. We are not among the group of people that tweet while sitting in front of a computer. If anything happens, we are the ones who act first.
