LIGER - Box Office Disaster in Past three Decades of Tollywood

The story is already predictable and dull, so the interval twist is a complete disaster. heroine rejecting him because he stammers and uses the word "level" is the height of absurdity. Many more outrageous scenes exist, such as the heroine becoming famous over night and having hundreds of fans dance at her home.

Although the movie is about a budding fighter, none of the fights were very well-shot. Even if some of the scenes from the worldwide MMA battle might be related to by normal MMA fans, they couldn't keep the audience on the edge of their seats. A significant accomplishment was getting Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight boxing champion, to appear in a telugu film. However, his part was written so poorly that it turned out to be meaningless and confusing.

Puri continued to follow the formula of a lovely girl falling for a rough guy. He merely created the idea of mixed martial arts and the battles as filler. In no part of Liger are there any of the heroic or elevating dialogues typical of Puri. The entire "lover also warrior also" plotline from puri Jagannath turns out to be one of the poorest and stupidest. Liger has large apertures, but it struggles to maintain them.
