Viveka murder case: CBI supports Sunitha demand
On Tuesday, the Central Bureau of Investigation backed the request made by Narreddy Sunitha, the deceased former MP's daughter, to move the hearing of his murder case from andhra pradesh to either hyderabad or Karnataka. The cbi attorney claimed in a counter-affidavit submitted to the supreme court that everything Sunitha claimed in her plea concerning the andhra pradesh police intimidating the investigating officials was correct in every single detail. On Wednesday, there will be another hearing in the matter.
According to the CBI's affidavit, the state police harassed the investigators by filing private cases against them and conspired with the accused in the murder of Viveka. The CBI's legal representative claimed that a police official who filed a complaint against the cbi alleging that it forced him to make a false statement was promoted. Pursuant to the cbi, "the state police are purposely avoiding the matter for as long as they can by operating according to the directives of the accused."
It should be noted that Sunitha petitioned the supreme court to transfer the case to another state, preferably Telangana. In September, a hearing on the petition was scheduled. Sunitha Reddy's senior attorney claimed she had lost faith in the CBI's ongoing probe into the murder of her father in andhra pradesh, which siddhartha Luthra brought to the attention of the supreme court bench. "The CBI's investigators are being threatened by the local police and politicians. The accused are threatening the witnesses and bringing personal lawsuits against cbi agents, according to Luthra.
