Kantara 2: Sequel Or Prequel?

The nation is currently talking about Rishab Shetty. His most recent movie, Kantara, went on to become a national hit in India. Rishab worked on the production as an actor, but he also authored and directed it. He was recently questioned about his intentions to create a prequel or sequel to Kantara. There is a lot of room, according to Rishab, to create either a prequel or a sequel to Kantara. He hasn't considered it, though. He currently desires a two-month hiatus to spend time with his family.
He also disclosed that he had no aspirations to make Kantara a national film of India. Since the content is steeped in and regional, he initially desired a direct kannada distribution. He believed that the movie's vitality and energy contributed to its current success. He added that people are currently searching for fresh content on OTT platforms, and Kantara may be one of the original pieces of content that they are looking for. Additionally, Rishab refuted claims that the kannada cinema industry received widespread acclaim prior to the KGF. He claimed that for a very long time, the industry has been producing good, universal movies.
Kantara has also become a huge blockbuster in telugu cinemas. The movie achieved the impossible in its first four days of release, and trade analysts now believe that it may outperform Prashanth Neel's kgf in terms of overall box office receipts. In its first four days of release, Kantara brought in an astounding 16 crores in gross from andhra pradesh and Telangana. Long-term box office projections indicate that the movie may bring in more than 25 crores, which would surpass kgf 1's domestic total.
