november 1. The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of
india (IRDAI) has announced that KYC verification will be mandatory for
health and general insurance from
november 1, 2022. It is important to note that although there is currently a KYC verification system, it is not mandatory.
It has been made mandatory from
november 1, whereas till now OTP was not mandatory for the delivery of LPG cylinders. Henceforth when booking LPG cylinders, OTP will be sent to the registered
mobile number of the consumer. It is to be noted that the cylinder will be delivered only if the OTP number is given at the time of cylinder delivery.
New rules for power subsidy in
delhi will come into effect from tomorrow. Today,
october 31, was announced as the last day to apply for
electricity subsidy for the month of October.

electricity consumers in
delhi, 47 lakh are receiving the subsidy.
